Tune in the Spring Meet and Show
Tune in the Spring is an automotive meet and show that takes place annually in Wasilla, Alaska. The event brings car enthusiasts together from every part of our extensive community, from Fairbanks to Kenai and beyond. Our main intention for the first Tune in the Spring was to bring our states very large and extremely diverse automotive family together; and to kick off another busy season of racing, showing, and building. We are now in our fifth year and as the years go on we hope to turn this celebration of our car culture into a tradition.
The event is held at the Museum of Transportation and Industry, located off of the Parks Highway. An array of antique memorabilia scatter the grounds, and provide an amazing backdrop for the vehicles that attend the show. Throughout the day there is a raffle, vendor booths including food and beverages, a swap meet, car show, and sound competition. Multiple car clubs are represented, along with locally owned automotive businesses.
All proceeds are dispersed at the event. All admission fees are donated to the museum, all vehicle fees are awarded as prize money for the car show.
